This 200 W embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) more efficiently than traditional units. It’s part of our stringently tested RS PRO range.

Any device that plugs into a wall socket uses AC. However, a wide range of electronics and battery-powered devices use DC. SMPSs use a switching mechanism to convert AC into DC, which wastes less energy than linear power supplies.

This SMPS has a long working life and high efficiency. It’s miniature in size but high in power density and has a vented metal case that reduces heat dissipation and improves overall performance. A chassis mount and handy screw terminals make installation a breeze for anyone.

Built to UL and CE manufacturing standards, you can rest assured you're getting a safe product. It's also RoHS certified, so it won't contain dangerous levels of any hazardous substances.
