RS PRO Red Terminal Post, 3 kV, 30 A, M6 Thread


This terminal post from RS PRO is a large, insulated terminal that's ideal for high-current applications of up to 30 A. Also known as a banana plug socket, the terminal post is used to terminate the exposed end of wires and make them easy to connect to equipment.

To protect you and your machinery, the post has a protective insulation sleeve that prevents the connector from coming into accidental contact with a live current. The body of the terminal post is made of phenolic resin, making the post non-conductive for safe handling. It's also resistant to heat and chemicals, so it's suitable for use in harsh environments. The conductive parts of the post are made of nickel-plated brass, which offers excellent corrosion resistance to ensure long-lasting performance.

The terminal post can withstand temperatures ranging from -25°C to +85°C, so it's appropriate for a range of applications. It's commonly used for amplifiers and speaker cables, as well as industrial test and measurement equipment.
