Flame-Retardant Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulation, 5 m x 610 mm x 6 mm


This thermal insulation sheet is made from high-temperature insulating wool and doesn't contain any binders or lubricants. This means it won't give off fumes or smells during its first firing, making it suitable for use in heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) ducts and chimneys.

The blanket is flexible and easy to cut and shape, meaning installation is fuss-free. It's also flame-retardant, immune to thermal shock and resistant to chemicals. These attributes make it suitable for use in heat shields, mould-wrap insulation or as passive fire protection. In addition to its enhanced thermal properties, the insulation has no large dust particles, so it's soft to the touch and non-irritating during use.

As it meets the requirements under Note Q of European Regulation 1272/2008, the sheet is exempt from labelling requirements in Europe. A versatile product, you'll find it used in storage heaters and domestic ovens.
