Metric Coarse Straight Flute Tap (T200)


Solid carbide tapes for the production of metric coarse internal threads in hardened steels (49-55 HRC). These metric coarse straight flute taps are ideal for mass productions with cutting speeds up to 3 times higher than HSS-E taps. Featuring TiCN coating for high strength/hardness which helps to resist abrasive wear and breaking. Can be used for horizontal or vertical blind hole machining and for threading depths up to twice the diameter.
