RS PRO 2 Core CY Control Cable, Screened, 0.50 mm², 100 m


This two-core data cable from RS PRO is suitable for carrying both analogue and digital signals in controlled environments. It's ideal for areas without pre-made cable runs, where it will work as a fixed data transmission cable.

To ensure safety, the cable has a flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath. Its stranded core makes it easy to handle, and there's an extra braided shield layer to keep noise transmission to a minimum. The internal cores have also been colour-coded for easy identification.

Its small diameter ensures that this two-core cable is easy to install, even in areas where space is restricted. You can use this cable to carry control signals for machinery or audio/visual data in a studio. It's also suitable for directly powering small pieces of equipment, as it has a 300 V, 9 A current rating.
