The Ruland Single Cardan Friction Bearing Universal Joint features friction bores that can be machined to the user’s preferred bore size and geometry. It is ideal for applications with space constraints and offers higher torque capacity than equivalently sized double universal joints. This plain bearing universal joint is made up of pins and blocks that are precision machined, selectively heat treated, and ground for high strength, accuracy, and wear resistance. Combined with precision ground and hardened yoke ears, it provides a longer lifespan, enhanced performance in demanding applications, and allows greater angular misalignment of up to 45° compared to standard single universal joints.
