RS PRO 1 Phase 3.6 kVA Variac, 1 Output, 240 V, 15 A


This open-style variac transformer from RS PRO supplies electricity between circuits in an extremely efficient manner. It's virtually maintenance-free and designed to last, even in heavy-duty environments.

The transformer has a continuously variable alternating current (AC) voltage and an overvoltage tap for regulation. It's highly efficient, thanks to a low magnetising current and low operating torque. A silver-plated commutator removes waveform distortion and makes for a smooth linear output. It's fitted with a clockwise knob and dial that's simple and easy to operate.

This single-phase, 15 A variable transformer can be used for flash-mounting in process control equipment, enclosures and control panels. For safety, it has built-in overload capacity as standard. As part of the RS PRO range, it's been stringently tested for quality and reliability. It also meets electrostatic control standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007.
