The wind measurement kit includes a wind vane, cup anemometer, and tipping bucket rain gauge with mounting hardware. It uses magnetic reed switches and magnets for measurement, requiring a voltage input for output.

Wind sensor arm mounts on a metal support for the wind vane and anemometer, with a cable connecting the two sensors.

Rain gauge is self-emptying tipping bucket type, recording rain with momentary contact closure.

Anemometer measures wind speed by closing a contact with a magnet, connected to an RJ11 cable.

Wind vane has eight switches connected to different resistors, showing up to 16 different positions based on magnet activation.
