RS PRO Black Nylon 3D Printer Filament, 2.85 mm, 500 g


Use this RS PRO black nylon filament to print firm, long-lasting objects with your 3D printer. It's compatible with most desktop 3D printers and is simple to use. To prevent your printed objects from becoming misshapen while they cool and to improve adhesion during printing, you can use a heated plate.

This nylon filament will bond with blue painter's tape, masonite and poplar wood, so it's suitable for a variety of component assemblies. The material is durable and resistant to chemicals and ultraviolet (UV) light. It's ideal for the engineering and automotive industries where strong parts are crucial. As it's wear-resistant and low-friction, it's also particularly suited to applications with interlocking gears.

The filament has low water absorption to avoid issues like bubbling when printing. For optimal performance, keep this product in a dry place or with a dehumidifier to prevent it from absorbing moisture over time.
