Weidmuller Crimp Bootlace Ferrule, 20AWG Wire Size, 2.6mm Collar Diameter - STRIPAX PLUS Series - 900428

Need a sure way to connect wires? Go with this crimp bootlace ferrule from Weidmuller. Simply thread your conductor through the pin and crimp it for termination in a snap. The unit's PP insulation collar protects your connection for efficient performance. There are 50 pieces on a 14mm strip, so you'll have plenty of ferrules on hand in your toolbox. Pair this component with the Weidmuller STRIPAX PLUS crimping tool (452-473) for a lasting connection.

• Highly conductive copper pins for reliable signal relays
• White colour-coded insulation for simple identification of matched conductor size
• Pin length of 8mm gives you a good contact surface

Applications

• Industrial control panels
• Electrical enclosures
• Consumer electronics
• Commercial and domestic appliances

Why must wire and ferrule pin sizes match?

Using a ferrule that's too big for your wire can result in poor connections as the pin may not sit firmly around the conductor once crimped. If the ferrule is too small, you'll damage the strands when trying to force them through the pin.
