It provides strain relief for your cables, preventing them from twisting and bending at damaging angles, which prolongs their lifespan. The unit's body and locknut are made of durable polyamide. This material is resistant to impact and abrasion, so it's a good choice for demanding work environments. The unit has a sealing ring made of CR (chloroprene rubber) and an O-ring made of NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) to prevent air or moisture from getting inside and compromising your connections.
