75W Aluminium housed wirewound power resistor, HS Series
From Arcol, the HS75 series of aluminium housed resistors are high power and offer a balance of Pulse power capability and volume. These 75 W panel mount resistors are manufactured in line with IEC 115 and MIL 18546. These panel mount resistors are designed for direct heatsink mounting with thermal compound, which ensures maximum performance.
Features and benefits:
At high ambient temperatures dissipation derates linearly to zero at +200 °C;Wirewound to maximise high Pulse capability;Compact size for power rating
Note
To achieve the given maximum performance rating of this power resistor, it is designed to be directly mounted on an appropriately matched heatsink and mounted using a thermal compound.
