RS PRO Stainless Steel External Circlip, 20mm Shaft Diameter, 19mm Groove Diameter

External clips are used as substitutes to threaded sleeves, rivets and cotter pins to set collars and nuts. Instead of using bulky fasteners, these circlips can be used to sit flush around shaft or bore components. These particular clips from the RS PRO series are compatible with 20 mm shafts and 19 mm groove diameters.

They're easy to use, requiring only an RS PRO external circlips plier to open up the ends. Just put the tips of the circlips into the pliers and simply push to open. They can then be placed over a shaft groove. As they're constructed from semi-flexible stainless-steel, they are both easy to install and remove.

These circlips undergo testing for quality and reliability before receiving the RS stamp of approval. The circlips are conformed to dimensions specified in DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute of Standardisation) 471 (BSC SF 14) and BS3673 standards.
