Its non-conductive silicone rubber casing prevents electrical leaks from damaging nearby components. The device stops your system from overloading by isolating power surges up to 1kV DC power for one second or 500V AC for one minute. Thanks to the through-hole mounting style, you can easily install it directly onto circuit boards.
