Need to check that your parts and materials are within tolerance, or that machines such as lathe tailstocks are properly aligned? This Digital Test Indicator (DTI) gauge from RS PRO can be used to take measurements up to 0.8 mm. It's accurate to within ±0.02 mm.

The gauge's fully jewelled movements enable sensitive measurement. It has a corrosion-resistant, satin-chrome finish to give you many years of service. It's fitted with a dovetail mount on three sides and supplied with 6 mm and 8 mm spigots as alternative fixing options. The dial bezel can be rotated so it can be seen from any working angle.

The gauge meets American National Standards Insitute (ANSI) ESD S20.20:2014 and British Standard (BS) EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards, so you can rest assured it won't damage your equipment via electrostatic discharge. DTI gauges of this kind are commonly used in mechanical workshops for machine calibration.
