StarTech Fibre Optic Cable, 100m Cable Length, Yellow Jacket - SPSMSCSC-OS2-100M
This Fibre optic cable provides singlemode simplex connectivity for high-speed network links. It is designed for long-distance transmission and compatibility with single-Fibre networking equipment, supporting Wavelength ranges suited to CWDM systems. The cable uses a low-smoke zero-halogen jacket for installations in confined or poorly ventilated environments and operates across a wide temperature span.
Features and Benefits:
• OS2 classification with low attenuation for extended reach
• 9/125μm core enabling 100Gbps network throughput
• SC/SC UPC connectors for improved return-loss performance
• Bend-insensitive core allowing tight-radius cabling
• Individually tested insertion loss below 0.3 dB

What temperature range can it withstand?
It operates between -20°C and 60°C.
What safety characteristic does the jacket provide?
The jacket is low-smoke zero-halogen and emits reduced toxic fumes if exposed to heat.
What insertion-loss and return-loss performance should I expect?
Typical insertion loss is 0.3 dB and return loss is 55 dB.
Which Wavelength range is supported for CWDM use?
The cable supports wavelengths across 1260 to 1625 nm for CWDM compatibility.
