The Pfannenberg Hose proof rain hood is an accessory designed to work with filter fans, preventing jet water or heavy rain from entering an enclosure. It has a very shallow depth, requiring minimal space on the outside, ensuring that escape and traffic routes remain clear. This hose-proof rainhoods are available in three different sizes in two designs, which can be combined with the fourth generation filter fan portfolio (PF 11.000 - PF 67.000). Its high protection against vandalism due to impact resistance IK10 and optional screwing of the hood from the inside. This means that it is not possible to unscrew the screws from the outside.

Very user-friendly installation by sliding the hood onto the basic housing, which is screwed to the control cabinet as usual
The filter mats of the rear filter fan/exhaust filter can be easily replaced

In addition to the standard stainless-steel version, Pfannenberg also offers a powder-coated steel version (RAL 7035)
The use of brushed V2A stainless steel allows a seamless design with existing stainless-steel cabinets and increases corrosion resistance
