Honeywell AWM3000 Series Amplified Airflow Sensor for Dry Gas, 1L/min Min, 1L/min Max

Measure airflow simply and reliably with this airflow sensor from Honeywell. It has a venturi design that forces air through a narrow tube and calculates the flow based on the pressure drop. This gives accurate measurements while minimising permanent pressure loss. It's particularly suitable for high-velocity applications, as it's capable of handling flow rates up to 1000 SCCM (standard cubic centimetres per minute). A wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C means this unit can be used for demanding applications both indoors and outside.

This sensor is capable of withstanding pressures of up to 25 PSI (pounds per square inch).

Besides the repeatability of ±0.50%, the sensor has been laser trimmed to ensure full interchangeability with other sensors.

Like the AWM2000 Series, the dual Wheatstone bridges in the AWM3000 series control airflow measurement. The AWM3000 Series is amplified; therefore, it can be used to increase the gain and to introduce voltage offsets to the sensor output. The heater control circuit and the sensing bridge supply circuit are on board the package.
