Use this insulated crimp spade connector from RS PRO next time you need a reliable method of joining electrical wires. Once you've inserted the stranded wire into the tube, simply link your signal by connecting the fork with the screws.

The crimp spade connector is made from copper with tin plating, so it's an effective conductor. The vinyl insulation is flared for easy wire insertion and colour-coded according to wire size. This spade terminal is designed for wire sizes in the range of 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm². It has a stud size of M4, with stud size indicating the diameter of the stud that the spade terminal is being placed around – in this case that's 0.4 mm.
