RS PRO Silicone Transparent Silicone Tubing, 4.8 mm Bore Size, 3 m Long, Food Grade, Peristaltic Pump Compatible


You can use this food-grade flexible silicone tubing from the RS PRO series in most peristaltic pumps. Often found in spray-coating dispensers, it's non-toxic so harmful chemicals won't leak out of the silicone.

The tubing is ideal for use with peristaltic pumps that transport fluids inside a tube as the resilient and durable silicone prevents cross-contamination. A flexible choice for industrial applications, it's chemical and abrasion-resistant and stands up to wear and tear. Strong composition means the tube won't be damaged through sterilisation.

Compliant with BS:2848 standards for flexible insulated sleeving when used in electrical appliance this transparent silicone tubing is ideal for use in laboratories, food processing and fermentation plants, as well as drinks dispensers. As part of the RS PRO range, it's been extensively tested to ensure consistently high standards.
