The Exsys Converter with 15KV ESD surge protection and 2.5KV isolation, can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS-232 interface. It is equipped with a 9 pin female connector that you can connect directly to your RS-232 serial port. It converts unbalanced, full-duplex RS-232 signals to balanced full or half-duplex RS-422 / 485 signals.
