The Kvaser Leaf v3 is a single-channel USB 2.0 CAN Interface for connecting a computer to a CAN bus network. It supports both CAN and CAN FD, with CAN FD bit rates up to 8 Mbit/s, and can handle up to 20,000 messages per second. The Interface features galvanic isolation, silent mode and error frame detection, and provides a timestamp resolution of 50 μs. It is powered through a USB Type-A connector and uses a 9-pin D-SUB connector for CAN bus connection. The Kvaser Leaf v3 is supported by Kvaser CANlib and is compatible with Windows, Linux and Android.
