The rod actuator responds to linear contact pressure and is designed to operate with an actuation force of 9.5 N, enabling consistent engagement with mechanical linkages.

The switch uses a single-pole double-throw configuration with one normally open and one normally closed contact, permitting either make-before-break or break-before-make control schemes depending on wiring.

While IEC/EN 609747-1 covers general rules relating to low voltage switchgear and controlgear, IEC/EN 60947-5-1 specifically relates to control circuit devices and switching elements. EN50047
