The Renesas Electronics are Bi CMOS 3.3V powered, full fail-safe, Low Power, High Speed or slew rate limited, single transceiver that meet both the RS-485 and RS-422 standard for balanced communication. these device have very low bus current and this allows up to 256 transceiver on the network without violating the RS-485 specification, 32 unit load maximum and without using repeater. it utilize slew rate limited driver which reduce EMI and minimize transmission line or unterminated stubs in multidrop and multipoint application.
