The Renesas Electronics 3.3V, Half Duplex, 250kbps, Slew Rate Limited, RS-485/RS-422 Transceiver. These single transceiver that meet both the RS-485 and RS-422 standard for balanced communication. It uses slew rate limited driver which reduce EMI, and minimize reflection from improperly terminated transmission line or unterminated stubs in multidrop and multipoint application and logic input accept signal in excess of 5.5V it make them compatible with 5V logic families.
