Strengthen your structures and connect components with this nature nylon rod from RS PRO. This handy part is used in industrial settings, such as construction sites and fabrication workshops, as well as by DIY enthusiasts.
The rod is manufactured from nylon 6, so it has a high tensile strength and good resistance to impact. This means you can use it in a range of demanding environments. It also has a melting point of +220°C, so you can easily hot plate weld it if required.
The component has an Underwriters Laboratories flammability rating of UL 94 HB, which means it burns slowly when in a horizontal position and reduces the risk of fire. You'll find it used as an electrical insulator in agricultural equipment or as a roller in industrial machinery.
