RS PRO Black Acetal Rod, 1m x 25mm Diameter

Use these black acetal rods from RS PRO to reinforce a wide variety of parts, from instrument handles to friction bearings. They're suitable for both industrial applications and private use. The rods are supplied in packs of two.


The components are made from acetal plastic, also known as polyoxymethylene (POM), which makes it extremely strong and rigid. It's also resistant to wear in both wet and dry environments. This means that you can safely use these rods for structural support. Acetal is easy to machine and drill into, which allows you to custom-fit your rods to suit your individual needs.


The rods have an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 94 HB flammability rating, meaning that they offers some protection from fire and burn slowly when in a horizontal position. Their POM material has been approved as a safe material for food contact, making these rods suitable for food and beverage processing applications.
