RS PRO Black Nylon Rod, 1m x 50mm Diameter

Hard-wearing and versatile, this nylon rod from our RS PRO range is suitable for use in rugged environments. It can withstand most weather conditions and UV light and is not easily damaged by oils, greases and chemicals. As a result, this product can serve as a long-lasting component in heavy-duty industrial workspaces.

The rod is manufactured from extruded nylon 6 – a tough plastic with incredible impact and abrasion resistance. It's capable of operating under temperatures of up to +160°C with low frictional properties and has a high tensile strength of 85 MPa, making it ideal for prolonged use in extreme conditions. Nylon 6 has high machinability so this 1-meter long rod can be easily configured to fit your equipment.

This product has been put through thorough testing to meet RS PRO's high standards. You can use these nylon rods in applications such as pulleys, bearings and rollers.
