SKF Pre-Cut Shim, 32mm Slot Width, Pack of 10 - TMAS 100-010
Get the most out of your machinery by setting it up right with the aid of these pre-cut shims from SKF. They're 100mm long and fit a slot width of 32mm, with a thickness of 0.1mm to help you align your equipment accurately. Supplied in a pack of 10, you'll have enough for a single 1mm thick stack or several pairs/triples. These shims are designed for easy fitting and removal, helping you to make your workflow as efficient as possible.
Features & Benefits
• Made of high-quality stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a long service life
• Fully deburred so they won't snag
• Thickness clearly marked on each shim for easy reference
Applications
• Steel mills
• Refineries
• Chemical processing plants
How do I fit a shim?
Insert the shim until it touches the bolt, then retract it slightly to prevent damage to the shim. After insertion, tighten the anchor bolts to the correct torque.
What should I be aware of when stacking shims?
A stack that's too high could lead to instability, so it's recommended to find an insert that aligns with the gap as closely as possible.
