Use this safety interlock switch from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Guardmaster range to protect operators from mechanical hazards. Its trapped key design means your machine only works when you insert the key into the lock. The vivid red tag lets you colour-code this unit for quick identification in emergencies. Thanks to a broad operating temperature range between -10°C and +40°C, you can safely use this unit in harsh environments. The switch's barrel is uniquely coded to work only with its assigned key, so you can rest assured that it's tamper-proof.

Our Rotary Trapped Key Interlock Switches are used for electrical isolation of machinery to improve safe access and also as teach boxes in robot cells. Once the power has been turned off, the key can be withdrawn and used in the next sequence of operation such as unlocking an access hatch or allowing valves to be operated. The rotary switch can be mounted in a panel or purchased in an enclosure.
