RS PRO Bright Zinc Plated Steel Pan Head Thread Forming Screw, N°6 x 9 mm Long


If you only have access to one side of a material that needs to be joined to another piece of material, this thread forming screw from the RS PRO series is a suitable choice.

A practical option for the disassembly and reassembly of furniture, this pan-headed screw is particularly suitable for high-torque applications in metal or wood where countersinking could be an issue. As the screw forms its own holes, all you need to do is make a small pilot hole in the surface, put the screw over the hole and then drill it into place with the suitable driver.

Made to UTS (Unified Thread Standard) No. 6, which means the outer thread diameter is 3.5052 mm, this 9 mm-long steel screw is bright zinc-plated (BZP) to ensure excellent resistance to corrosion.
