RS PRO Bright Zinc Plated Steel Pan Head Self Tapping Screw, N°4 x 3/8 in Long 9.5 mm Long


These zinc-plated self-tapping screws are designed to be used in applications where you need to join materials together, but can only access one of the surfaces. They're frequently used in the automotive world, as they meet industry demands for higher torque.

The screws have cross-recessed pan heads and there's no need for pilot holes as they will make their own threaded holes. Their pozidriv-type drive means that the screws can be drilled into place, with ease, with the helps of a Pozidrive screwdriver. Other types of self-tapping screws may cause damage.

The half-inch long screws are manufactured to UTS (Unified Thread Standard) No. 4 dimensions. As they're from our own RS PRO brand, these screws are strictly tested for quality and durability. Their steel construction with a clear passivated BZP (bright zinc-plated) finish ensures superior corrosion and abrasion resistance.
