The wire's core contains the rosin-based flux to save you applying flux paste separately. Rosin keeps the solder joint resistant to corrosion so you won't risk damaging your component.
The leaded wire has a low melting point of +183°C so it's easy to work swiftly with a soldering iron. The item's 1 mm thickness means it will comfortably solder electronics with a larger surface area such as wiring in household devices.
