This RS PRO panel-mount PID controller (proportional integral derivative) offers you a more sophisticated temperature control than traditional tools. It's especially good at reacting to sudden heat fluctuations, making it well-suited to a range of industries where keeping equipment temperatures stable is critical.

Unlike standard controllers that carry out a simple on/off switching function, PID controllers use feedback from a thermocouple. This prevents overshoots and lag and means process temperatures stay constant at the user setpoint.

This temperature controller has three outputs with a choice of either relay or SSR (solid-state relay). It has a quick set-up menu with 10 configuration parameters. The user-friendly controller has a large, clear LED display and simple three-button operation.

As a quality RS PRO product, this controller has been stringently tested. It's IP65-rated as dust-tight and splash-proof and also meets the EN 61010-1 standard for safe electrical measuring and control equipment.
