The banana socket terminal adapter is a 2.0mm female single wire electrical connector used for joining wires to equipment. It has an electrical impedance of 50ohm. This banana socket has a voltage rating of 30VDC. It has a current rating of 10A, contact resistance less than 20mohm, insulation resistance greater than 10Mohm and wire range of 24 to 14AWG. The plug has gold plated brass for contact.
