Belden Twinaxial Connection Cable, PE insulation

For quick and reliable signal transference between your devices, look to this twinaxial cable from Belden. It features a classic coaxial cable shape combined with an additional conductor sheath and polyethylene (PE) insulation jacket for resistance against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental hazards. The conductors are made from tinned copper with patented Beldfoil shielding to ensure a high level of conductivity, increasing the overall speed of data transfer. This cable is protected from chemical exposure, high temperatures and electrical hazards thanks to its durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath.

Features & Benefits

• Operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C for use in harsh environments

• Capacitance of 64.6pF/m (picofarads per metre) ensures a high level of stored electric charge

• Blue sheath colour for immediate cable identification

Applications

• Data transmission

• CCTV camera control

• Television broadcasting

What’s the difference between coaxial and twinaxial cables?

Coaxial cables have an inner conductor insulated by a dielectric material to prevent signal distortion. By comparison, twinaxial cables feature a second conductor and an additional layer of insulation to further increase cable protection from crosstalk and environmental interference.
