Metcal Manual Wire Wrapping Tool, 30 AWG
If you need to create a durable, consistent point-to-point connection on your printed circuit boards (PCBs), use this manual wire wrapping tool from Metcal. It enables you to twist a wire around a PCB post instead of soldering it in place.
This tool holds a size 30 American Wire Gauge (AWG) wire in a fitted slot and fits over the post on your PCB. You can then simply turn the tool until the wire is wrapped tightly and securely.
The wire wrap method creates a greater amount of contact between the wire and the post, which makes for a more efficient connection.
