Looking for an odourless thermoplastic for your 3D printing needs? Our RS PRO Polylactic Acid (PLA) filament is made from natural sources and gives off little to no fumes so it's safe to use while printing.

PLA works at low temperatures which makes it an ideal material for Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printing. This also means it's less likely to clog or warp during the printing process. The material's low melting point ensures your prints come out with sharper features and great surface detail. Printed products made out of this material can also last a long time if kept out of direct sunlight.

As part of our RS PRO range, this product has been tested by engineers to assure its durability. Use PLA for low-stress functional prototypes or support structures to help ensure your piece maintains its form after printing.
