This multifunction tester is a handheld instrument for verification and compliance testing of fixed electrical installations. It combines insulation resistance testing up to 1000 V, voltage and frequency measurement, earth resistance assessment and RCD diagnostics to support inspection, installation and maintenance tasks in industrial and commercial environments.

What measurements support short-circuit and earth-fault calculations?

The instrument measures loop and line resistance and computes prospective earth-fault current and prospective short-circuit current from measured voltage and resistance.

It performs automatic RCD test sequences that measure tripping time, tripping current and variable current profiles for Type A, AC and G/S variants.

What power source and protection rating does the instrument use?

It operates from AA batteries and has an IP40 sealing with overvoltage protection categories CAT III 500V and CAT IV 300 V.
