Allen Bradley RCD Switch, 30mA Trip Sensitivity, 63A Current Rating - 1492-RCDA4A63

Use this safety device from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range to protect your heavy-duty equipment from overload and prevent fire caused by earth faults. This residual current device (RCD) is highly sensitive at 30mA and monitors the flow of current in the connected circuit. It immediately switches off the circuit when it detects current flowing in an unintended path, such as through an operator who's touched a live part. This component has a residual current breaking capacity of 1kA so it can withstand a heavy surge without failure. It's useful for both domestic and industrial use.

• Compact dimensions of 70 (L) by 88 (W) by 75mm (D) for space efficiency• Current rating of 63A, so suitable for heavy-duty applications• Toggle switch reset actuator to easily restart the device• DIN mounting style for easy and time-efficient installation• Electrical lifespan of 10,000 operations for long-term reliability

Standards and Certifications

• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)

What can cause an RCD to trip?

Factors such as damaged or faulty electrical wiring as well as weather conditions like lightning can cause an RCD to trip. By tripping, it stops unusual conditions damaging your system.
