RS PRO 316 L Stainless Steel Tubing, 2 m x 8 mm OD x 5 mm ID x 1.5 mm
Adaptable and long-lasting, this stainless-steel tubing from RS PRO is ideal for structural frames, shopfitting and general fabrications. Available in lengths of 2 metres, it's not magnetic and can be used in DIY and industrial applications.
Austenitic steel has been used to make the 316 L stainless steel tubing and it is therefore resistant to corrosion. The molybdenum element of austenitic steel is corrosion-resistant and weldable, making it suitable for settings where there is exposure to saltwater or rain such as boat building and gardening. Because its composition is low in carbon, the tube delivers good weld-decay resistance.
