RS PRO Translucent Red PET-G 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm, 500 g

This RS PRO red 3D printer filament is made from versatile polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PET-G). This is a food-safe and water-repelling material that's ideal for applications such as food packaging. You may like to use this filament with a heated bed set between +35°C and +60°C for effective adhesion during printing and to prevent warping while the object cools.

PET-G is free from harmful materials, making it suitable for medical use as well as catering. It doesn't produce any harmful fumes or unpleasant odours while you're printing, so it's safe to locate it in an office or workshop. PET-G has an extrusion temperature of between +220°C and +260°C, and its high melting temperature and low shrinkage rate help give your printed object strength and stability.

This filament has a print speed of approximately 40-60 mm per second for efficient results. You're safe to use acetone-based paints or adhesives on your printed PET-G objects.
